Emily Blunt is struggling to adjust to U.S. driving rules – the British actress was involved in a minor car crash on Wednesday after reversing into a curb.

The Devil Wears Prada star lives in Los Angeles with her fiance John Krasinski, the star of U.S. TV’s The Office, but admits she has yet to get to grips with driving on the other side of the road.

Blunt was unharmed in the minor accident, but she confesses her ego suffered some damage.

She says, “Driving on the other side of the road is a big change and I managed to convince myself I can. I actually managed to crash my Prius…

“I was reversing out and there was a big drop between the curb and the driveway… and there was a horrific crunch… I crashed into the curb.”

And Blunt is blaming unfamiliar American driving rules for partly causing the crash, adding: “I don’t know what it is. I feel like my vision is off looking over the different shoulder.”
